(c) For persons certified by the State of Indiana as a certified <br />Emergency Medical Technician, $250.00 per year. <br />(d) For regularly assigned scuba divers, $225.00 per year. <br />(e) Firemen performing paramedic duties will be paid at a level <br />which is a maximum of $800.00 dollars over the base pay for their rank. <br />(f) All 24 hour firefighters personnel shall be entitled to receive <br />a Holiday pay totalling $380.00 gross for the year. Such Holiday pay <br />shall be paid in two equal installments of $190.00 gross each, <br />payable by the 15th day of June and the 15th day of December. The <br />Holiday pay shall be paid, to 24 hour personnel, regardless of whether <br />the holiday is worked, and shall apply only to the designated Holiday <br />approved by the Board of Public Safety. However such Holiday Schedule <br />shall not go below twelve (12) holidays which is the total number <br />presently in the 1981 salary ordinance. <br />SECTION IV. All monetary fringe benefits which shall remain at <br />the 1981 levels for the 1982 and 1983 calendar years, may be <br />::renegotiated for the 1984 Calendar year. <br />In the event of either or both of the conditions described in <br />Section II occurring, the respective Wage Committees of the South Bend <br />Common Council and the Local No. 362 of the South Bend Firefighters <br />Accociation, may negotiate the distribution of any new monies generated, <br />to salaries and /or monetary fringe benefits, subject to Common <br />Council passage by ordinance and ratification by the Firefighters <br />Association. <br />SECTION V. The South Bend Common Council recognizes Resolution <br />792 -80 which was adopted on June 23, 1980; and believes that the <br />foregoing three year salary package is in keeping the spirit of that <br />Resolution. <br />SECTION VI. The Common Council recommends as follows: <br />The firefighters clothing allowance shall be $500.00 per year. <br />One -half of the clothing allowance shall be paid to each firefighter <br />by the 15th day of June, and the remaining one -half shall be paid by <br />the 15th day of December. <br />SECTION VII.
