It functions as an emergency re-
lief device in the event of excessive pressure within
the cylinder. Its rupture point is between 850 psi (58.6
bar) and 1000 psi (68.9 bar).
The cylinder valve has two outlets:
Discharge Outlet: A 1 1 /4 in (32 mm) FNPT connection
serves as the connection point for discharge piping.
Pilot Actuation Port: A 3/8 in (10 mm) FNPT con-
nection (shipped with a removable plug) provides a
means of applying actuation pressure to the second-
ary cylinder(s) or, in a single cylinder system, the dis-
charge pressure switch. The port is pressurized only
during the 10 second discharge period.
Wall Mount Cylinder Bracket Assembly
(P/N 18595)
Cylinder stability is ensured by the cylinder bracket as-
sembly, consisting of one strap and rail with accompany-
ing bolts, nuts, and washers. The rail is slotted for ease of
mounting with fasteners provided by the installer.
23.83
605
36.56
929
53.0
1346
19.93
506
32.67
830
49.10
1247
13.63
346
15.75
400
30.75
781
10.0
254
10.0
254
10.0
254
11.9
302
11.9
302
11.9
302
DS1258 Revised: 21-Dec-2023
