Breckinridge County Schools ■ s CMTA
Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract
Annual Reconciliation Report (2023-2024)
The following section outlines the performance of the solar PV arrays at the installed facilities. Solar PV
performance is not measured relative to a building's baseline, but instead actual electrical production is
measured relative to guaranteed electrical production. In each figure, there is a guaranteed production
level (blue line), and an actual production level (green line). When the actual performance (green line) is
above the guaranteed performance (blue line), that Solar PV Array is outperforming the guarantee,
resulting in excess savings for the Breckinridge County Schools. Each building includes a Year 4 summary
to create a clear depiction of how each facility's array is performing.
Note that the solar inverter at Irvington Elementary School failed on May 10, 2024 and was replaced under
warranty by CMTA at no cost to Breckinridge County Schools on July 11, 2024. As such, there was no solar
production at Irvington Elementary School during the 2-month period where there was no functioning
inverter at that site.
Hardinsburg Elementary School
Hardinsburg Elementary School saved $6,871 in utility costs due to Solar PV production, yielding $492
(8%) excess savings from the guaranteed $6,379.
Table 5-26: Hardinsburg Elementary School Savings Breakdown
Figures 5-27 shows the Year 4 electrical solar production.
100,000 1
90,000
80,000
70,000
k 50,000
w
h 50,000
40,00{0
30,000
20,000
10,000
0
Hardinsburg Elementary Solar Production
i e.4 e 6 6
0
Figure 5-27: Hardinsburg Elementary School Solar Production kWh Tracking Year 4
CIA AI5
1,507
Page Content is Subject to Confidentiality Restrictions
5-14
9519 Civic Way, Suite 100 1 Prospect, KY 40059 1502.409.4062 1 cmta.com
Performance Contracting I M EP Engineering I Zero Energy Engineering I Technology I Commissioning
