Breckinridge County Schools <br />Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract <br />Annual Reconciliation Report (2023-2024) <br />Scope of Work Summary <br />CMTA <br />The following narratives describe the Energy Conservation Measures included in the scope of the project <br />per Exhibit D of the contract. <br />H1: HVAC Renovations <br />Breckinridge County High School: <br />- Removed existing chiller and boiler plants, removal of existing VAV air handling units <br />- Installed new geothermal wellfield and variable air volume water source heat pumps <br />- VAV box terminal unit replaced throughout school <br />- Installed water -to -water heat pumps and condensing boiler for VAV box reheat loop <br />- Installed outside air energy recovery unit and alterations to exhaust air system <br />Custer Elementary School: <br />- Replaced 13 existing DX/Propane Packaged Rooftop Units <br />- Installed 2 new Rooftop Units in place of existing PTAC and Ductless Mini Split units. <br />H2: HVAC Control System Upgrades <br />This ECM included full DDC control system upgrade as a part of the new HVAC system installations and <br />implementation of equipment schedules, optimal start logic, demand limiting controls sequences, and <br />other energy saving controls sequences. Existing legacy controls systems were integrated into the new <br />web -based front end. <br />Facilities: Breckinridge County High School, Breckinridge County Middle School, Custer Elementary <br />School, Ben Johnson Elementary <br />H3: HVAC Controls Retro-Commissioning <br />HVAC Controls retro-commissioning was performed at schools with existing DDC controls systems. This <br />ECM ensured that the existing buildings, equipment, and systems achieved their maximum possible <br />performance.
