CMTA has all the required technical and construction management expertise on staff to design and stamp drawings, calculate
energy savings, model building performance, manage subcontractors during construction, commission systems after installation
and measure and verify systems performance.
CMTA approaches all of our projects as a long-term partnership with our clients. The success of our previous projects is a direct
result of the trust that is established between CMTA and the maintenance and custodial personnel that operate this facility on a
daily basis after our projects are complete. The better the building users understand the systems and how they should operate,
the more successful both our clients and CMTA are.
CMTA therefore includes training for all maintenance and custodial personnel in our project, addressing the efficient operation
and maintenance of both existing and new ECM equipment. Perhaps even more valuable than that, we develop a relationship
with the operations, maintenance, and custodial staff so they can contact us for help or questions. We maintain these
relationships with all of our clients after each project. CMTA will work with the City of South Bend to identify the appropriate staff
for each training session and will then create an overall training plan.
In addition, CMTA also provides consulting engineering, where we design complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
for many types of projects, including schools, hospitals, federal buildings, and universities. Energy efficiency is always an integral
part of each of these projects.
