CMTA acted as the energy performance contractor for this project. <br />iv. <br />V. <br />vi. <br />ix. <br />X. <br />This was a guaranteed energy performance contract. <br />$15,721,392; Term: 20 years. <br />This overall project encompasses 1,800,485 square feet. <br />• Implementation of a 500.4 kW roof -mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) array for Center Grove High School <br />• Implementation of a 239.9 roof -mounted solar PV array for Center Grove Elementary School <br />• Solar retro-commissioning for existing ground -mounted solar array at Walnut Grove Elementary School <br />• Integration of Building Automation System (BAS) controls at Center Grove Middle School North into new Trane BAS <br />for improved energy efficiency and occupant comfort <br />• Retro-commissioning of BAS controls for 13 facilities, providing optimized setpoints and zone schedules, updated <br />graphics, and optimal start sequencing and fan cycling <br />• Implementation of ground -mounted solar PV arrays totaling 1.33 MW that Maple Grove Elementary School and the <br />Transportation & Maintenance Center will share, located in the field between the 2 facilities; this will result in <br />Maple Grove ES becoming a Zero Energy facility <br />• Replacement of existing boiler -chiller HVAC system at Maple Grove Elementary School that will be replaced with a <br />new geothermal HVAC system, including new water source heat pumps, hydronic pumps, VFDs, and dedicated <br />outdoor air systems (DOAS) <br />• Upgrade and standardization of building automation systems to provide integration into a single, user-friendly <br />front-end interface <br />• Implementation of a 762.3 roof -mounted PV array for Center Grove Middle School Central <br />• Implementation of an 81.9 roof -mounted PV array for the Emergency Operations Center <br />The types of equipment included: <br />• Solar Modules: 450W Boviet Solar Module & 545W JA Solar Module <br />• Inverter and Rapid Shutdown Device: SMA JMS-F Rapid Shutdown Device <br />• PV Racking: Unirac RM5 — 5 Degree Ballasted Flat Roof System and Terrasmart Glide Ground Mount System <br />• Balance of System (Disconnects, AC Combiner Panels): Siemens <br />• Communications/Monitoring: SMA Production & Consumption Monitoring <br />This scope is fully funded by guaranteed energy savings. <br />The scope was broken into 3 contracts. The first contract was signed March 31, 2024. Construction began in March 2024 as <br />projected and was projected to end December 30, 2024. Actual construction is currently projected to end in April 2025. The <br />second contract was signed April 18, 2024. Construction was projected to begin in June 2024 and actually began in July 2024. <br />Construction is projected to end September 30, 2025. The third contract was signed May 23, 2024. Construction began in <br />June 2024 as projected and was initially projected to end in December 2024. Construction is now projected to end in March <br />2025. <br />The projected annual utility savings in dollars for the first contract is $403,564; in energy/water the annual electric savings <br />are 3,907,576 kWh, and the annual natural gas savings are 62,491 therms. There are no water savings. <br />The projected annual utility savings in dollars for the second contract are $258,220; in energy/water the annual electric <br />savings are 2,515,297 kWh, and the annual natural gas savings are 101,852 therms. There are no water savings. <br />The projected annual utility savings in dollars for the third contract are $97,595; in energy/water the annual electric savings <br />are 945,990 kWh.
