Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />The September 6, 1994 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order <br />at 4:35 p.m. by its President, Joseph Wroblewski. There was a quorum present. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Mr. Joseph Wroblewski, President <br />Ms. Mary O. Ferlic, Secretary <br />Members Absent: Mr. Andre B. Gammage, Vice-President <br />Legal Counsel: Ms. Jenny Pitts Manier <br /> <br />Redevelopment Staff: Mrs. Ann Kolata, Director <br />Mrs. Cheryl Phipps, Recording Secretary <br />Mr. James Riggs, Economic Development Specialist <br />2. APPROVAL OF NIIl~TUTES <br />a. Approval of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Tuesday, August 16, 1994. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Ferlic, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />Tuesday, August 16, 1994. <br />3. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Authority authorization requested to send letter to Redevelopment <br />Commission regarding transfer of funds in connection with repayment of <br />South Bend Redevelopment Authority College Football Hall of Fame Bond <br />Anticipation Note. <br /> <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that before the closing of the Hall of Fame bond, the <br />Authority sold a $1.5 million Bond Anticipation Note (BAN). It was used for <br />a few days before the Hall of Fame Bond closed to pay outstanding bills. The <br />proceeds from the Redevelopment Authority BAN were inadvertently put into <br />a fund with the remains of a Redevelopment Commission BAN (about <br />$20,000). $285,805.66 of the BAN funds were spent.
