ORDINANCE NO. 7063 -82 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $35,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO PROJECT CS 817, DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS - FAIRFAX SUBDIVISION, WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In the best interest of public health and safety, it is necessary to provide drainage of the Swale and to construct pipe and culvert improve- ments to relieve the drainage problems in this subdivision. Funds are now needed for the cost of construction for these improve- ments. These funds are available from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the project in the amount set forth below: Project No. Location Amount 817 Drainage Improvements - $ 35,000.00 Fairfax Subdivision Total Appropriation $ 35,000.00 Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. !;t READING -r - ft?
