These rights-of way aze <br />leftover segments when the alignment of LoganStreet/Hickory Road was changed. <br />The vacation of the north/south alley, the remaining portion of Kale Street and the <br />former Logan Street will allow for the expansion of the existing Hickory Crossing <br />Shopping Center. The expansion of the center will add over 13,000 square feet of retail <br />space, provide employment opportunities and increase the property tax values for the <br />City of South Bend. <br />We respectively request approval of our petition.
