These funds have always been <br />used to support the parking garages. This has required that <br />monies be transferred from the Parking Meter Fund to the Park- <br />ing Garage Fund from time to time to take care of deficit <br />balances. <br />Since the Parking Meter Fund is used only for these revenues, <br />and these revenues have always been pledged to the Parking <br />Garage Fund, it would be more efficient to have only one fund. <br />During the 1980 audit of the Parking Garages, Crowe Chizek and <br />Company expressed their desire that we combine these two funds. <br />If you have any questions regarding this bill, please contact me. <br />Your favorable consideration will be appreciated. <br />SincerZEKernan l _ <br />oseph <br />City Controller <br />JEK:des <br />Attachment <br />
