BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 711 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,739.65 FROM COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />COMPLETING PROJECT ACTIVITIES. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Certain activities currently operating with Community Development <br />funding require additional funds in order to be completed. In each circumstance, <br />the need was not anticipated at the passage of the existing Community Development <br />Block Grant Fund Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $7,739.65 is hereby appropriated for the program <br />year starting July 7, 1981 from the Community Development Block Grant Fund. <br />This appropriation is to be administered by the Division of Community Develop- <br />ment and the appropriate agencies as set forth below: <br />Project No. Description Amount <br />CD -81 -101 Rehab Grants $ 4,262.72 <br />CD -78 -603 General Street and <br />Lighting Improvements 1,691.00 <br />CD- 81 -402E Softball Diamond Lighting 35.93 <br />CD -81 -118.1 Multi Family Rehab - <br />Hope Rescue Mission 1,750.00 <br />$ 7,739.65 <br />SECTION II.
