If the appropriations are <br />approved, the 1981 U.L.O. balance would be $53,108.35. <br />The Rehab Grants through the Bureau of Housing require $4,262.72 <br />to fulfill code requirements on homes that have been rehabilitated. In <br />some circumstances, the original contractors work was found to be unsatis- <br />factory and recovery of the funds will be pursued. The general street and <br />lighting improvements request for $1,691.00 is a result of reprogramming <br />funds in previous years without making the Department of Public Works aware <br />of the exact amounts. The Softball Diamond Lighting appropriation of <br />$35.93 is necessary in order to complete the walker Field lighting project. <br />The Hope Rescue Mission request for $1,750.00 would allow the Mission to <br />repair the roof and a bathroom. Community Development funds were appropriated <br />from program year 1981 for various interior rehabilitation in the Mission. <br />Should you have any questions regarding the ordinance, please call me <br />at 284 -9335.
