City of South Bend
Public Works Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract Qualifications
— Life is On Schneider
Electric
The Schneider Electric team also analyzed system size for meter 611322381 (Wells 3 & 6). A target
system size of 124kW (pending interval data review) is estimated. Thia system would be located in the
northwest section of the site overview. Array is located close to interconnection to minimize cost.
Meter 694476004 (Wells 4 & 5) also required evaluation. A target system size of 62kW (pending interval
data review) is estimated. This system would be located in the southwest section of site overview in the
same area of the 133kW system connecting to GAC building. This array will be located in the closest
viable location to minimize cost and interconnection distance.
Regarding Meter 998490925 (Olive Garages), Schneider Electric would not recommend a system at this
meter due to small size and interconnection. A small isolated system located to the east of the property
would be reviewed with interval data to confirm sizing and cost upon a full civil review.
A-11,
Limiting factors in locations were next reviewed. Utility easements and setbacks were assumed based
on existing infrastructure on open land. Site shading due to existing buildings and foliage were identified
to recognize areas detrimental to system production. Site plans of existing underground infrastructure
were reviewed to help in finalizing our recommendation for site placement. An environmental
assessment of public data was completed to identify potential soil disturbance issues. (please see
attached in this appendix) A full civil review was not completed, and final site design and location will be
finalize once complete.
