City of South Bend <br />Public Works Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract Qualifications <br />c. List any awards and accreditations. <br />Schneider Electric is an active, accredited member of NAESCO as an Energy Service Provider (ESP) and is certified by the U.S. <br />Department of Energy (DOE) as an ESCO. <br />This accreditation, the highest that NAESCO awards, means that we offer all of the capabilities of a traditional ESCO, as wel l as <br />additional offerings not all firms in the energy business are able to provide. Our projects not only include energy conservat ion <br />measures, but we also have the expertise to help our clients meet emissions reduction targets or achieve carbon neutrality as <br />part of their performance outcomes. This includes solutions such as distributed energy generation, cogeneration, combined hea t and <br />power (CHP) projects, as well as arrangement of firm contracting of energy supply and energy -as-a-service (EaaS). <br />We are honored to be recognized and awarded globally in areas of innovation, sustainability, ethics, and safety. We are a <br />Fortune 500 company and entered the ESCO business 31 years ago providing Guaranteed Energy Savings contracts to over 100 US <br />cities since the founding of our Sustainability Business in 1992. We have over 200 employees in Indiana and have provided <br />Guaranteed Energy Savings for public entities in the state since 2001. <br />Schneider Electric is registered as a Indiana Professional Engineering firm and functions as a general contractor on guaranteed energy <br />savings contracts. Per Indiana Code 36-1-12.5, you can find copies of our Indiana Public Works Certificate as both a designer and a <br />contractor (including construction of work greater than $10M). We have multiple employes with Indiana engineering licenses including <br />Jeffrey O’Connor (license #PE12200306), and Brock Armstrong (license #PE11900758). Also on the Schneider Electric team for this <br />project with South Bend is one of only 3 individuals, Micheal Cooprider (PVDS Cert. #071519-017508) in the entire state of Indiana with <br />a NABCEP (solar) certification. <br />You will work with a team of certified, in-house experts who have the insight and skill to develop projects that align with South Bend’s <br />priorities and foster stakeholder trust in your strategic direction.
