(a) participation in neighborhood center meetings to <br />discuss fair housing concerns with citizens; <br />(b) meeting with organizations such as Urban League, LULAC, <br />Neighborhood Housing Services, NAACP, etc., to discuss <br />problems of fair housing and methods to address the <br />problems; and, <br />(c) active participation in the St. Joseph County Council <br />of Social Service Agencies to get input from social <br />service agencies and their clientele regarding any <br />problems they are aware of that prevent equal housing <br />opportunities. <br />4. To effectively monitor compliance with the fair housing <br />requirements of the South Bend Human Rights Ordinance. This <br />is accomplished through the intake, investigation, and <br />resolution of housing discrimination charges. <br />- 2 <br />
