ORDINANCE NO. 71 y6 -tea <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,000.00 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY RE- <br />FERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR THE <br />REPAIR OF TRUCK LIFTS FOR 1982 TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE BUREAU OF TRAFFIC & LIGHTING <br />WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />WHEREAS, the lifts on the trucks used by the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting must be repaired in order to remain operable <br />and funds for these repairs are now available in the General Revenue <br />Sharing Fund; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION I.' That the sum of $14,000.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year 1982 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, <br />commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This approp- <br />riation is to be adminstered by the Bureau of Traffic & Lighting and <br />will be distributed as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 229 <br />REPAIR OF TRUCK LIFTS <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />363.0 Equipment Repair $14,000.00 <br />$14,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
