Leszczynski <br />Director, Public Works <br />August 17, 1983 <br />Members of the Common Council <br />441 County -City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Attention: Public Works Committee <br />Dear Councilmen: <br />The attached ordinance is requesting an appropriation of $68,000 <br />from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to be used to <br />clean, grade, and repair the Crest Manor retention basin and <br />the Ireland -Miami Street basin. <br />These basins will require several of the concrete spillways to <br />be rebuilt along with re- establishing the basin contours. <br />The balance in this fund after this appropriation is $761,645.70. <br />Should you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Very truly yours, <br />&�"' &rr1WAz_ <br />John E.
