ORDINANCE NO. % -j,3 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN CARL J. <br />REINKE & SONS, INC., AND THE BOARD OF WATER WORKS <br />COMMISSIONERS IN THE AMOUNT OF $148,000.00 FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE -HALF MILLION GALLON CLEAR WELL <br />AT THE EDISON PARK WATER FILTRATION PLANT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />That bids being duly accepted and opened, approval of the <br />award of a contract in the amount of $148,000.00 to Carl J. <br />Reinke & Sons, Inc., is requested in order to construct a one - <br />half million gallon clear well at the Edison Park Water Fil- <br />tration Plant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That a contract in the amount of $148,000.00 <br />between the Board of Water Works Commissioners and Carl J. <br />Reinke & Sons, Inc., to construct a one -half million gallon <br />clear well at the Edison Park Water Filtration Plant is hereby <br />approved. <br />SECTION II.
