ORDINANCE NO. 7164 -83 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SECURITY <br />ACCOUNT WITHIN THE CONTROLLER'S BUDGET <br />OF THE GENERAL FUND. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to expend monies for purposes of security equipment <br />necessary for the safe operation of city government, it is necessary to <br />establish a security account within the Controller's budget of the <br />General Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, as follows: <br />SECTION I. There is hereby established within the General Fund of <br />the City an account to be known as the Security Account, within the <br />Controller's budget of the General Fund, to be expended for security <br />equipment necessary for the safe operation of City government. <br />SECTION II.
