Installing entities shall modify installations to eliminate conflicts and achieve <br />coordination of systems and Work. <br /> <br />f. If Field Coordination Drawings indicate conflicts, which cannot be reconciled <br />without modifying space or design provisions, Architect’s field representative <br />shall review coordination drawings to determine if field modifications are <br />required. <br /> <br />g. Failure to exercise field coordination responsibility waives Contractor’s claims for <br />an increase in Contract Sum if design modifications are required to resolve <br />conflicts that might have been avoided by complying with requirements of this <br />Section. <br /> <br />7. Administrative and Supervisory Personnel: <br /> <br />a. In addition to its Project Superintendent, the contractor shall provide other <br />administrative and supervisory personnel required for proper performance of the <br />Work. <br />1) The Project Superintendents must be on site full time during normal <br />working hours. The Superintendent shall not be changed without the <br />Owners and the Century Center Director of Operations approval. <br />2) The Superintendents shall prepare, and keep on site, a daily log that <br />describes construction activities, site visits by regulatory officials, <br />vendors etc. <br /> <br />b. The Contractor shall provide a full-time Project Coordinator, experienced in <br />administration and supervision of building construction, including mechanical and <br />electrical work. This Project Coordinator shall be authorized to act as the <br />coordinator of construction activities between each subcontractor. <br />1) Construction activities requiring coordination by the Project Coordinator <br />shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />a) Scheduling and sequencing the Work. <br />b) Sharing access to work spaces. <br />c) Installations. <br />d) Protection of the Work of each Prime Contractor. <br />e) Cutting and patching. <br />f) Temporary services and facilities. <br />g) Inspections and tests. <br /> <br />8. Coordination of Contract Closeout: <br /> <br />a. Contractor shall coordinate completion and clean up of Work with each of the <br />separate subcontractors to include: <br />1) Coordinating access to Project for correction of defective Work. <br />2) Assembling and coordinating closeout submittals specified in section <br />01700 “Contract Closeout”. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION 01040
