A5: The conversion of the existing parking spaces to the electric vehicle parking spaces as
schematically designed in Attachment 1 will require some of the existing lines to be ground
off. This cost will be incidental to the cost of striping for each division. Where new lines
coincide with old lines, new lines may be placed on top of old lines.
Q6: Also, I do not see a size called out for the ESVE Pavement Marking Symbol item. Can this
be clarified?
A6: The EVSE Pavement Marking Symbol should be a 48" square.
PART 2 — PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
1.02 Section XX PAYROLL RECORDS, B. Additions
ADD to B.1
Please provide the prevailing wage rate. Please note that the rate can be found here
(SAM.gov).
Please also list the number of laborers employed. Please note that any contractor or
subcontractor that employs four or more laborers or mechanics in the construction,
alteration, or repair of the facility must also hire at least one qualified apprentice.
Additional information on prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements can be found
with this link.
