egip r,)t X-4 �)Co_ 2022-2025 L/l3 (f uk %) /w, �,lS" 2022 INDIANA/KENTUCKY/OHIO REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made, entered into and effective June I 2022 and between Michiana Builders Association, Inc. and Independent Contractors or EMPLOYERS signatory hereto, hereinafter referred to individually and collectively as the "EMPLOYER" and the INDIANA/KENTUCKY/OHIO REGIONAL COUNCIL OF THE UNITED BROTHERHOOD OF CARPENTERS AND JOINERS OF AMERICA, hereinafter referred to as the "UNION." PREAMBLE AND DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES The EMPLOYER is engaged primarily in the Building and Construction Industry, and as such, both the EMPLOYER and the UNION have a common interest in same. The EMPLOYER and the UNION hereby pledge themselves to the highest degree of harmony and good faith in the performance of this Agreement. The EMPLOYER being in the building and construction industry, excellence and safety of endeavor are prime requisites to the continuation and success of the EMPLOYER'S business. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: ARTICLE I Recognition Section 1. Territorial Jurisdiction and Bargaining Unit. The territory covered by this Agreement is as described in Article XI hereof. The bargaining unit shall consist of all employees engaging in the work described in Articles VIR, IX, X and XI hereof. Section 2. Recognition. The EMPLOYER recognizes the UNION as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for all the employees now or hereafter employed in the bargaining unit, with respect to wages, hours of work and all other terms and conditions of employment. Section 3. Equal Representation. The UNION, to the extent that it is the exclusive representative, shall represent all employees in the bargaining unit equally, without discrimination, irrespective of membership or non -membership in the UNION.
