PARENT, Mayor <br />COUNTY-CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />June 8, 1983 <br />Members of the Common Council <br />441 County -City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Councilmen: <br />The attached ordinance requests the appropriation of $85,000.00 <br />for use in construction of the combined communications center <br />and $90,000.00 for motor equipment in the Street Department. The <br />equipment to be purchased will be two large trucks and a cab and <br />chassis for Unit 11, the emergency vehicle. All the vehicles are <br />replacement vehicles. <br />(219) 284 -9251 <br />The funds are made available as a result of interest earned on the <br />General Obligation Bond Issue. Total cost of the communications <br />center is estimated to be $251,000.00.
