The only completely new item in the bill is the <br />position of Computer Specialist. The changes proposed are an <br />extension of a number of reorganizations and changes which will <br />result in substantial savings to the City. The changes requested <br />in this bill have to be done jointly with the City Council. Very <br />substantial amounts of money will be saved in the Water Works and <br />a small amount of money will be saved in the General Fund. So <br />none of the changes proposed will cause any increases in the <br />budgets. <br />Further explanations of this bill are included in Attachment <br />I and also in a memorandum to all Council members.
