General <br />1. See "Maintenance Guidelines" on SWPPP Sheets 19-21. In addition, grass areas shall be maintained on a regular mowing cycle. <br />Trash and debris shall be removed from seeded areas as necessary, but monthly at a minimum. <br />B. Storm Manhole & Inlet Structures (Site Owner's Responsibility) <br />1. Inspect storm manhole structures, drywells and storm inlet structures and remove built-up vegetation, trash and debris - monthly <br />(minimum) and after each storm event of 3-inches or greater. <br />2. Remove root intrusions and vegetation from structures and dry wells - as needed. <br />3. Repair broken castings and grates - as needed. <br />4. Inspect pipes located within the structures for signs of clogging or damage, repair as needed - annually (minimum). <br />C. Swale (Site Owner's Responsibility) <br />1. Inspect for signs of damage - annually (minimum) and after each storm event of 3-inches or greater. <br />2. Note signs of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination (i.e. sheen of collected stormwater) and address properly - annually (minimum) <br />and after each storm event of 3-inches or greater. <br />3. Repair eroded areas - as they occur. 4. 4. Mow (frequent during growing season) and collect litter, trash or debris - as needed during growing season (do not cut shorter <br />than 3 4 inches), collect trash and litter monthly (minimum). <br />Notes: <br />1. A Soil Erosion Control Plan shall be developed for this project to minimize sediment entering the retention and <br />detention areas. <br />2. 10 P/ <br />of s ds ri -ra stone shall be around end sections to minimize erosion. <br />Y P <br />3. Storm sewer shall be reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) class III min. and meet St. Joseph County Standards. <br />4.
