ORDINANCE NO. ? 30 -ff <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,380.00 <br />FROM THE HIGHWAYS SAFETY FUND FOR <br />EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />A grant from the Indiana Department of Highways <br />has been approved for the purchase of equipment and related supplies <br />for accident investigations. These monies will be available and <br />need to be appropriated. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $1,380.00 be <br />appropriated from the Highways Safety Fund. This appropriation <br />is to be administered by the Police Department of the City of South <br />Bend and will distributed as set forth below: <br />ACCOUNT <br />261.0 <br />429.0 <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Other Supplies <br />Other Equipment <br />AMOUNT <br />$ 212.00 <br />1,168.00 <br />Total $1,380.00 <br />SECTION II.
