All rights reserved. <br />Assumptions <br />·Utility Coordination Process will be in accordance with IDM Chapter 104 <br />·Utility Coordination will be completed by an INDOT certified utility coordinator. <br />·There will be a PFC Meeting for this project and utility certified coordinator will attend. <br />·No reimbursable utilities will be relocated. <br />Items Specifically Not Included <br />·Reimbursable utility agreement <br />·Utility location and depths by means of SUE <br />·Right of way acquisition services <br />·Field inspection for utility relocations <br />·R/W staking <br />Section 6: Bidding and Construction Phase Services <br />Objective <br />The objective of this section is to provide services to provide clarification of design intent during <br />construction. During construction, the Consultant shall be available at reasonable times during normal <br />working hours to respond to reasonable inquiries concerning the accuracy or intent of the Consultant's plans. <br />All such inquiries shall be made only by persons designated by the Owner to interpret the plans and Contract <br />documents for the benefit of the contractors and subcontractors performing the work. The Consultant shall <br />not be required to respond to inquiries by persons other than the Owner's designated representative and <br />shall not be required to engage in exhaustive or extensive analysis or interpretation of the plans. <br />The Consultant shall review all shop drawings as described in IDM 14-1.02(08). <br />If during the construction phase it is determined that unforeseen or unusual conditions arise, the Consultant <br />shall revise the plans with Owner approval. <br />Deliverables <br />·Shop drawing reviews. <br />·Contract document addenda (as appropriate). <br />·Responses to Construction Contractor Requests for Information (RFI’s). <br />·Attend pre-bit meeting. <br />·Attend (1) preconstruction meeting. <br />Coordination <br />These activities will be coordinated with the Owner and Construction Engineer. <br />Activity <br />The Consultant will perform the following work under this section: <br />·Review plans and bid documents as advertised by the Owner and notify the Owner of inconsistencies <br />from submitted documents which require correction. <br />·Respond to bidder questions. <br />·Issue addenda as appropriate to interpret, clarify, or expand the plans and bid documents. <br />·Review bids received and make recommendation to Owner regarding award. <br />·Attend Pre-construction meeting. <br />·Review Shop Drawings for Structure and walls <br />·Respond to Contractor RFI’s to clarify design intent. <br />Assumptions <br />·Owner will advertise and receive bids. <br />·Consultant to review shop drawings and responds to RFI’s within 5 business days.
