CCLs perform the following activities in association with the remediation of areas, <br />buildings and materials contaminated with chemical, biological, and physical hazards. <br />Environmental remediation may consist of, but not be limited to, the following <br />activities: <br />a. Asbestos abatement <br />b. Hazardous waste remediation <br />c. Lead abatement <br />d. Microbial remediation <br />e. Radiation protection/radioactive material handling <br />f. Water damage/fire restoration <br />g. Erect, dismantle and maintain scaffold <br />h. Identify, inspect, use and maintain all tools specific to this concentration <br />i. hand <br />ii. electric <br />iii. gas <br />iv. pneumatic <br />i. Aerial lift operation <br />8. Landscaping 2000 hours <br />CCLs perform the following activities in association with landscape work in commercial <br />applications. Landscaping may consist of, but not be limited to, the following activities: <br />a. Trim and prune hedges, trees and shrubs <br />b. Seed and sod lawns <br />c. Install irrigation systems <br />d. Install retaining walls <br />e. Install brick pavers for walks and patios <br />f. Apply fertilizers and pesticides - traditional use and alternative "green" <br />applications <br />g. Plant and maintain flowers and ground covers <br />h. Install and maintain fences, planters and other landscaping features <br />(playgrounds, gazebos, fountains) <br />i. Small engine maintenance/repair <br />j. Identify, inspect, use and maintain all tools specific to the concentration <br />i. hand <br />ii. electric <br />iii. gas <br />iv. pneumatic <br />k.
