REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 8.2000 <br />for this effort and stated that it is his belief that individual telephone calls rather than <br />a direct mailing would get better results. <br />Council President Pfeifer noted that there was an article about the census effort in <br />today's South Bend Tribune. <br />2. REPORT FROM AREA PLAN COMMISSION <br />BILL NO. 25-00 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS <br />THEREWITH LOCATED IN GERMAN TOWNSHIP, ST. <br />JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA (STASZEWSKI <br />ANNEXATION) AND CHANGING ZONING <br />DESIGNATION <br />Councilmember Coleman made a motion to refer this bill to the Zoning and <br />Annexation Committee and set it for Public Hearing on May 22, 2000. <br />Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine <br />(9) ayes <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />There was no new business to come before the Council at this time. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />There was no one present wishing to address the Council at this time. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilmember Coleman made a <br />motion to adjourn.
