Equal Opportunity Employer
Employee Policies are subject to change at any time without notice to employees.
Employee Assistance
L-D will assist and support employees who voluntarily seek help for drug or alcohol addiction
before becoming subject to discipline or termination under this or other L-D policies. Such
employees will be allowed to use accrued paid time off, placed on leave(s) of absence, referred
to treatment providers and otherwise accommodated as required by law. Employees may be
required to document that they are successfully following prescribed treatment. Once a drug
test has been initiated under this policy, unless otherwise required by the Family and Medical
Leave Act or the Americans with Disabilities Act, the employee will have forfeited the
opportunity to be granted a leave of absence for treatment, and will face possible discipline, up
to and including discharge.
Larson-Danielson has partnered with Kepro EAP Services; available 24/7 at:
Phone: 1-877-239-8783
Website: www.EAPHelplink.com
Company Code: KCLEAP5

Required Testing
To establish a drug free workplace for the safety of its employees, Larson-Danielson
Construction Co. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification of further
employment consideration.

Random
Random drug testing will be administered monthly, and office employees will be selected
randomly, from a third-party computerized selection program. Employees selected will be
required to report to an approved collection site by the end of the day of the date of the “Letter
of Notice for Random Testing” that will be hand-delivered.

Reasonable Cause
Testing may also occur if there is probable/reasonable cause that an employee is under the
influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
