Schoenekase, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary <br />Since joining Insituform in 2015, Dan has served in a variety of legal roles supporting Insituform <br />directly as well as Insituform's parent company and affiliates across the globe. Immediately prior <br />to his current role as General Counsel, he had been the Senior Vice President and General Manager <br />of Insituform's North American operations in which he was responsible for the success of over <br />sixty crews, supporting services, and the profit and loss of the business. This operational <br />experience allowed Dan to become a uniquely well-rounded counsel and advisor to Insituform. <br />Prior to joining Insituform, Dan was a partner in the global construction law practice group of a <br />law firm. He is an Eagle Scout and former U.S. Army infantry officer with one combat deployment <br />as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dan earned his law degree from St. Louis University and his <br />MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri and <br />Illinois. <br />John L. Heggemann, Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer <br />Mr. Heggemann serves as our Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting <br />Officer, a position he has held since June 2019. He served as our Vice President — Operational <br />Finance, Middle East and Asia Pacific from April 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, Mr. Heggemann <br />served as our Senior Controller and Director of Cost Accounting in the Corrosion Protection <br />Platform and as a Plant/Manufacturing Controller and Senior Financial Analyst in the <br />Infrastructure Solutions Platform. Mr. Heggemann has been with the Company since August 2013 <br />and previously worked for the Company from September 2001 to September 2006. Mr. <br />Heggemann served in finance -related roles with Spartan Showcase, a division of Leggett & Platt, <br />Inc., and with Carboline Company, a division of RPM International Inc., from September 2006 to <br />August 2013. <br />Donald E. Hake, Senior Vice President and Treasurer <br />Mr. Hake serves as the Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Hake joined Aegion in 2018 as <br />Vice President and Assistant Controller. He has over 30 years of experience in financial reporting, <br />tax, treasury and controllership/finance. Prior to Aegion he was held a range of positions in <br />finance; CFO, Corporate Controller and Treasurer at both public and private companies in St. <br />Louis. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting and Washington University <br />with an Executive MBA. He holds CPA certificates from both Indiana and Missouri. <br />
