All rights reserved. <br /> <br />This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of five (5) pages, referred to <br />in and part of the Agreement between Owner and <br />Engineer for Professional Services dated , . <br />Engineer’s Services <br /> <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br /> <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br /> <br />PART 1 – BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 Architectural/Interior Design <br />A1.01.01. Conceptual Design and Programming <br />A. Engineer will perform user group meetings (or issue questionnaires) with Owner specified <br />departments to generate an overall program document to effectively use for space planning <br />(blocking diagrams to show which department could be located on the existing first and <br />second floors). <br />B. Prepare conceptual design layout (blocking diagrams) to identify sizes and locations of <br />spaces identified in the program document. This includes the first and second floors. <br />C. Provide two (2) design options for a new exterior corner entry enhancement at the west side <br />of the existing building. Evaluate converting the existing service entrance on the southeast <br />side of the building into a secondary entrance. Includes one rendering. <br />D. Attend two (2) virtual meetings to review conceptual blocking diagrams and rendering with <br />Owner staff. <br />A1.01.02. Building Assessment <br />A. Engineer will conduct short interviews of key personnel during the site visit to discuss major <br />systems and component repairs/replacements completed, ongoing, and programmed for the <br />building as well as any areas of concern. <br />B. A single site visit consisting of a walk-through survey will be conducted and will consist of <br />the following: <br />1. Visual assessment of property site components to include drainage, flatwork, and <br />landscaping. <br />2. Visual assessment of the structural integrity or major framing components of the <br />building. <br />3.
