<br /> <br /> <br />“Page content is subject to Confidentiality Restrictions” <br /> <br />City of Arvada, Colorado | Project #37213 | M&V Report – Year 2 | Page 23 <br /> <br /> <br />City of Arvada, Colorado <br />ECM 10: Electric Tariff Optimization <br />Savings Unit Guaranteed Verified <br />Dollars $28,918 $28,918 <br /> <br />Overview of ECM <br />This measure included changing the Xcel Energy rate tariffs at Arvada Center, Arvada Water Treatment Plant, Indiana <br />Shops, and Ralston Water Treatment Plant to reduce electricity costs. <br /> <br />Arvada Center, Arvada Water Treatment Plant, and Indiana Shops had solar PV added under another ECM, which <br />allowed those sites to be switched to the PV tariff (SPVTOU). <br /> <br />Ralston Water Treatment Plant was moved off the low load factor tariff and placed on the standard tariff (SG), sin ce the <br />facility’s load factor was too high for the existing tariff to provide a financial benefit. <br /> <br />The table below lists the original and proposed tariffs associated with this ECM: <br /> <br />Location Original Tariff Existing Solar PV Proposed Tariff <br />Arvada Center SG No SPVTOU <br />Arvada Water Treatment Plant SG No SPVTOU <br />Indiana Shops SG No SPVTOU <br />Ralston Water Treatment Plant SGL Yes SG <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioning <br />Ameresco confirmed that the Xcel electricity accounts at the locations listed above were transitioned from the existing <br />electric tariffs to the proposed electric tariffs by obtaining recent utility invoices prior to project completion. A copy of <br />an actual invoice for each affected site is included in Appendix G. <br /> <br />Measurement & Verification <br />The M&V Plan for this ECM was based on Agreed Upon Savings. The savings for this measure are achieved upon <br />project acceptance. <br />
