An almost complete lack of actual production can be observed in April, May and June 2022. In mid -March of 2022, Arvada Center suffered a phase loss from the electrical service during a late -winter storm. This event caused equipment failures throughout the building, including a critical component of the solar PV system known as the rapid shutdown device, which is required for operation. Diagnosing this failure took time, and then the new parts had to be ordered. Repairs were made in late June, and production resumed. This caused 3 months of essentially no production during the performance period. The fourth month with production that was significantly less than guaranteed was January, which is very likely the result of snow cover on the panels. For this Year 2 report, we are showing the actual production without any adjustment for the utility level event that took the system offline or the reduced production in January. It should be noted that both of these events are outside of the control of Ameresco. Should future events cause a more dramatic loss of production, an adjustment may be necessary.
