This structure ensures
that work proceeds smoothly and that a high-quality project is completed. Ameresco self-performs energy
analysis, building audits, scope development, preliminary design, savings calculations, project management, and
measurement and verification with support from MBE/WBE partners. Ameresco subcontracts installation work and
final design work. Depending on the scope of work, material purchasing and distribution may be contracted
through a sub-contractor or performed directly by Ameresco. We also have a network of high-quality MBE/WBE
contractors and consultants that we work with on a regular basis that allows us to expand our capabilities to
address larger scopes of buildings in a shorter timeframe.
Ameresco intends to work with Kokosing Solar, the Solar Power focused group within Kokosing Industrial, for the
solar PV portion of this project. They have 22 years of experience in the solar EPC market in Ohio with a local
team of qualified persons including licensed electricians, professional engineers, and NABCEP certified individuals.
While being headquartered in Ohio, Kokosing Solar also has a strong regional presence with over 26MW of solar
installed, including at the City of Athens, Ohio, Wastewater Treatment Facility.
All subcontractors, utility and equipment suppliers, and any personnel will be held accountable for maintaining the
same contract provisions and requirements required of Ameresco. This includes supplying evidence of an existing
and functioning Quality Control and Safety Program. Ameresco is responsible for the management of ALL activities
before, during, and after installation. Subcontractors will report directly to Ameresco and will have limited
interaction with the Owner.

Ameresco will conduct Owner briefings and weekly or bi-weekly (determined by the client) project progress and
construction meetings. As part of these meetings, there will be a review of actual progress versus anticipated
progress as indicated on project schedules, milestone achievements, site-specific issues and resolutions, critical
path analysis, and most importantly customer input. Other options, such as internet-based reporting, can be
pursued should the South Bend choose to do so. Ameresco will conduct separate meetings with subcontractors
weekly or bi-weekly to prepare for upcoming work and review construction status and performance.
