Protection during demolition: <br />• Chain link fence to be set up around the perimeter. <br />• Signs to be posted on fence "Danger do not enter" by Alpine Demolition. <br />• Alpine Demolition will spray water on demolition debris to keep dust down. <br />• Spotters will be utilized during demolition preventing pedestrians from entering the demolition zone. <br />• Site to be left clean at end of shift with no loose debris. <br />8. Engineer Controls <br />o Alpine demolition will hook up to a hydrant to utilize water for dust control. <br />o Garbage trucks will cover the trailer prior to transport out of the work area to prevent spillage. <br />9. Equipment: <br />• Volvo EC750E Hi Reach Excavator w/ Hydraulic Attachments <br />• CAT 349 Hydraulic Excavator w/ Hydraulic Attachments <br />• CAT 262 skid steer with grapple and sweeper attachment <br />10. Building Demolition <br />o Temp fence and erosion control measured are installed <br />o Conduct OSHA Engineering Survey <br />o Mobilize ACM contractor onsite and begin abatement. <br />o Once all ACM have been removed from an area, universal waste will be collected and disposed of. <br />o Interior strip out of the building will commence, utilizing interior shafts as debris chutes. <br />o Debris will be removed as it demoed to reduce accumulation of materials onsite. <br />o Once Asbestos Abatement and Interior strip out has been completed in a portion of the building, structural <br />demolition will begin. <br />o Starting from the south, Excavators will begin demoing the building using hydraulic attachments. <br />o Building materials will be separated onsite and loaded into trucks for disposal. <br />o All debris will be sprayed with a fire hose throughout the process to reduce dust. <br />o Trucks to be loaded within work area for removal of material off site per contract specifications. <br />o Foundations and slab will be processed and loaded offsite as demolition progresses. <br />o North and East foundation walls to remain in place to support adjacent grade. <br />o Backfill to be brought to the site, compacted per specs, and fill basement voids. <br />o Affected streets to be swept clean. <br />The above plan may be modified and change as job conditions warrant.
