SECTION 7 – EARTHWORK & EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL <br />92 <br />Mud and sediment tracked or washed onto public roads shall be removed immediately by <br />brushing or sweeping, at a minimum, daily. Flushing should only be used if the water is <br />conveyed into an inlet that is protected. <br />Construction site inspection should occur at least weekly, and within twenty-four (24) hours <br />following each storm event with 0.50 inches of rain or greater. <br />7-2.3 REMOVAL <br />Upon completion of all earth disturbing activities, all temporary Erosion and Sediment Control <br />measures shall be removed, taking care to prevent any sediment from entering the stormwater system <br />and disposing of any material built-up around the control measure. <br />Upon completion of a project, the erosion and sediment control measures shall remain in place until <br />the site has stabilized and the erosion and sediment control are no longer necessary.
