SECTION 4 – SANITARY <br />72 <br />4-4.4 (b) FLOWABLE FILL <br />1.) Removable: The three (3) day average penetration resistance blow count number for removable <br />flowable fill shall not be less than twelve (12) or greater than thirty (30), conforming to INDOT <br />Standard Specifications Section 213.04 (b). The fourteen (14) day removability modulus shall <br />be one (1) or less, conforming to INDOT Standard Specifications Section 213.04 (c). <br />2.) Non-Removable: The three (3) day average penetration resistance blow count number for non- <br />removable flowable fill shall be greater than thirty (30), conforming to INDOT Standard <br />Specifications Section 213.04 (b). <br />4-4.5 TEST REPORTING <br />4-4.5 (a) REPORTING <br />1.) Test reports shall be prepared on official company letterhead and shall include relevant <br />information and documentation for each type of test conducted. The test report is not official <br />unless it is signed by a City Engineer representative. <br />2.) Any main line valves and equipment will be operated and witnessed by a South Bend City <br />Engineer representative. Any installed material that is not functioning properly will result in a <br />failed test. The accuracy of the Record Drawings will be checked at this time. <br />3.) All visible leaks shall be repaired and retested. All pipe, fittings, and other materials found to <br />be defective under test pressure shall be removed and replaced. <br />4.) Deviation from the above test procedures shall not be permitted.
