No.: 1900447 <br />Muessel Primary & Holy Cross School Area <br /> Amendment No. 1 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Stanton: <br /> <br />The Troyer Group (TTG) hereby presents amendment #1 to the City of South Bend for the Safe Routes to School <br />project near the Muessel Primary and Holy Cross Schools neighborhood. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We understand that this project is replacement of sidewalks and handicap accessible ramps within the <br />neighborhood. The primary focus being on the primary routes to and from the schools. The sidewalks that will be <br />replaced will be with 5-foot-wide sidewalks from back of existing sidewalks towards the existing curb line. <br />Additional crosswalk striping and signage may be included. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The current sidewalks and ADA ramps are not in compliance with current standards. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The project is needed to provide a safe route for students walking to and from Muessel Primary and Holy Cross <br />Schools. <br /> <br />The preliminary cost estimate of $1,625,000 for Construction has been reduced to $1,315,938 per Macog’s direction. <br /> <br />The project’s letting has been moved into FY-2025. <br /> <br />
