The onsite workshop <br />and site visits will be part of the same trip, lasting up to four days for control system specialist and <br />communication specialist. <br /> <br />Task 104 - System Alternatives Evaluation <br />Engineer will conduct an evaluation of control system and communications alternatives based on <br />the information gathered and the results of the workshop and draft a technical memorandum <br />documenting Engineer’s recommendations for replacement control system hardware and <br />communications technologies. Engineer will utilize the Owner’s GIS information provided for the <br />sites as part of the communications evaluation to ensure site specific considerations are included in <br />the evaluation. The draft technical memorandum will be submitted to the Owner for review <br />followed by a virtual review workshop to review comments and feedback from the Owner’s Staff <br />on the recommendations. Following the review workshop Engineer will update the technical <br />memorandum to address the agreed to comments, develop a budgetary cost estimate required to <br />implement the recommendations, and provide a final technical memorandum to the Owner for <br />planning purposes. The final technical memorandum will be delivered within 4 months of <br />authorization of this agreement. <br /> <br />Task 105 - Project Management and Administration <br />Engineer will support the Owner by managing the project to coordinate evaluation of alternatives <br />between engineering disciplines, monitor and control the project budget and schedule, and keep the <br />Owner informed of project progress and issues necessary for success of the project. Engineer will <br />provide project supervision, direction, and coordination with the Owner’s management and staff. <br />Project administration and management also includes budget and schedule control, client <br />management support, document control, coordination of activities, monthly invoicing and project <br />close-out. Engineer will maintain a change register of any scope changes affecting the project <br />budget or schedule and review it with the Owner on a monthly basis. Engineer shall discuss and <br />receive written approval for any scope changes from the Owner prior to proceeding. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Consult with Owner to define and clarify Owner’s requirements for the Project and <br />available data. <br />2. Advise Owner of any need for Owner to provide data or services of the types described in <br />Exhibit B which are not part of Engineer’s Basic Services. <br />3. Identify, consult with, and analyze requirements of governmental authorities having <br />jurisdiction to approve the portions of the Project designed or specified by Engineer, <br />including but not limited to mitigating measures identified in the environmental <br />assessment. <br />4. Identify and evaluate [insert specific number or list here] alternate solutions available to <br />Owner and, after consultation with Owner, recommend to Owner those solutions which in <br />Engineer’s judgment meet Owner’s requirements for the Project.
