South Bend Redevelopment Authority Special Meeting - June 14, 1991 3. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) a. continued... Mr. Wensits asked whether the Authority was planning to demolish the homes it purchases in the Airport Economic Development Area and whether, at these prices, they were worth moving. Mrs. Kolata responded that the owners are given the option of moving the home to a new location, but, they have not chosen to do that. Two of the homes are ranch style homes and are not particularly conducive to being moved. b. Authority approval requested for Resolution No. 41 accepting the transfer of real property from the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. • Ms. Manier explained that this is a parcel of property in the Airport Economic Development Area that the Redevelopment Authority agreed to purchase several weeks ago. .The property has been closed on, but by error, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission was listed as the purchaser rather than the Redevelopment Authority. To correct that error, the Redevelopment Commission agreed to transfer its interest in the property to the Redevelopment Authority. By adopting this Resolution, the Redevelopment Authority agrees to accept the property in order to rectify the error on the deed. Mr. Gammage asked if the Redevelopment Authority has to provide any consideration for the property. Ms. Manier answered that the deed would state $10.00. Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Gammage and unanimously carried, the Authority approved Resolution Number 41 accepting the transfer of real property from the Redevelopment Commission. IV . Adjournment There being no further business, Mr. Gammage made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Fewell seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned at 2:18 p.m. Wv w ose W.
