WEST MILWAUKEE, WI 53219 <br />414.672.4244 the mrdgroup.net <br />We will ask for our employees' permission before conducting drug or <br />alcohol tests. We are bound by law and ethics to not conduct any covert <br />test (e.g. taking a sample without the employee's permission or <br />knowledge.) But keep in mind that refusing to undergo drug or alcohol <br />testing in any of the above cases may be grounds for us to terminate <br />you. The same applies if you try to stall when called to take your drug or <br />alcohol test. Testing must be done that day promptly. <br />If we suspect you abuse drugs or alcohol, we may ask you to not come <br />to work, while waiting for your test results. You will be paid as normal for <br />this waiting period if your results are negative. We may arrange <br />transportation for you to and from the testing center. <br />Testing Positive For Illegal Substances <br />If our employees test positive for illegal substances (e.g. cocaine, <br />amphetamines, opiates, PCP, THC, marijuana or other controlled drugs <br />or substances) we may choose to terminate them or we may opt at our <br />sole discretion a disciplinary action. <br />Disciplinary Action for Failed Drug or Alcohol Test <br />MRD may opt at its sole discretion for disciplinary actions instead of <br />immediate termination, if MRD chooses to do so, it will follow the <br />following protocol: <br />(A) After a positive test, an employee will be: <br />(1) suspended from work for thirty (30) days. <br />(2) directed to a program of treatment or rehabilitation. <br />(3) subject to unannounced drug testing for one (1) year, beginning <br />the day the employee returns to work. <br />Demolition.
