The rate of pay for compensation for conservation of sick time <br />in the schedule listed above shall be the then - current rate of pay <br />for the rank of Corporal. Payment shall be made to sworn members <br />for sick time conservation on or before December 15th of each year. <br />The Sick Leave Cost Reduction Program shall not affect the <br />current sick leave policy authorized by the Board of Public Safety. <br />SECTION IX. This ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after its passage by the Council and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />
