ORDINANCE NO. 7 4/ '7 - 9'S' <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $20,000.00 FROM THE <br />MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR <br />DETAILED ARCHITECTURAL PLANS FOR REMODELING <br />PORTIONS OF THE PALAIS ROYALE TO UPGRADE SERVICES <br />AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South <br />Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of <br />Managers. <br />The Century Center Board of Managers has determined that it <br />would be expedient and in the public interest to undertake detailed <br />architectural plans for improvements to the Morris Civic Auditorium and <br />a portion of the Palais Royale building which is being considered for <br />improving the services of the Morris Civic Auditorium. Money is <br />available for this purpose in the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement <br />Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The amount of $20,000 is hereby appropriated and <br />ordered set apart out of the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund <br />for a contract for detailed architectural plans and documents for <br />remodeling portions of the Palais Royale to upgrade services at the <br />Morris Civic Auditorium. <br />SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />M m er of the Com n Council <br />
