I am filing this ordinance for 1st reading the 19th of
November and public hearing and 2nd reading on December 3rd.
Through the passage of this ordinance, the City will be
transferring the funds involved so that budgets actually reflect
the expenditures that have been necessary to operate during 1984.
Please note several of the larger items involved as follows:
1. An $18,186 increase in the Council's other contractual
account. This amount reflects the difference between what was
budgeted for the 1983 general election and what the actual cost
was.
2. A $41,817 increase in the Board of Work's telephone and
telegraph account. This amount reflects the costs that were
unbudgeted which were associated with the installation of the new
telephone system.
3. A $21,000 increase in the City Engineer's office
equipment account which was caused by the purchase of additional
hardware pertaining to the office automation project.
4.
