Increased costs to provide service compounded <br />by the length of time since our last rate increase necessitates <br />a change be made. We are, therefore, requesting the rates be <br />increased by an amount of $1.00 per customer per month. For <br />a residential customer the new rate will be $5.50 per month <br />and for customers over sixty -five (65) years of age the cost <br />will be $3.50 per month. <br />One change in collection procedure will be free pick -up <br />of appliances, furniture, etc, for South Bend Solid Waste <br />customers. <br />If you have any questions please contact me at your <br />convenience. <br />Sincerely, <br />j4j, 4_r_fv�' <br />John E.
