ORDINANCE NO. 71103 -2',Y AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $88,636.00 FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A ROOF AND FOR THE LEASE PAYMENT FOR QUINT 3 (LADDER 5) STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Indiana has determined that the replacement of the roof at Fire Station #3, 1805 McKinley Avenue, is necessary due to the threat of premanent damage to the roof deck; and WHEREAS, the first lease payment for the Quint 3 (ladder 5) will be due on September 15, 1985. The Quint lease purchase agreement was approved through the Board of Works on February 19, 1984 and approved by the Common Council through Resolution 1183 -84 dated August 13, 1984. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $88,636.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1985 from the Emergency Medical Services Capital Improvement Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana as described below: 360.0 Building & Structure $25,000.00 399.'0 Other Contractuals 63,636.00 Total $88,636.00 SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approved by the Mayor. AS4
