SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />January 16, 2013 14005 County -City Building <br />2:06 p.m. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />Presiding: Raphael Thomas South Bend, IN 46601 <br />The January 16, 2013 Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at <br />10:16 a.m. by its President, Raphael Thomas. Approval of the minutes of December 26, 2012 <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Mr. Thomas the Authority approved <br />the minutes of December 26, 2012 as presented. <br />3. New Business <br />a. Authority approval of Management Services Agreement with Cressy & Everett <br />Management Corporation <br />Mr. Inks said the Redevelopment Commission is using TIF to help fund the <br />management of the College Football Hall of Fame for the first six months of the <br />year. He said we continue to work with at least one prospect for the building and <br />time will tell if that leads to anything. At this point we are continuing to make <br />sure the building is secure, managing the heating and cooling. There is a tenant in <br />the building, Jersey Mike's, who we are currently in litigation with seeking to <br />have them out of the building. <br />Mr. Alvarez asked about the amount of the fees. Mr. Inks said Cressy & Everett <br />proposed a $500. initial evaluation and an estimated $4,800. to manage the facility <br />over the first six months. Their contract is all on an hourly basis so it depends on <br />the extent that we use their services what the actual cost will be. Mr. Inks said we <br />are working with Century Center. Scott Hercig, from Century Center, is keeping <br />an eye on all the HVAC systems at the Hall of Fame. Century Center is taking <br />care of snow removal, so when snow is being removed at Century Center it will <br />
