Project Approach <br />The project is currently scheduled to let on March 13, 2024. We anticipate a Notice-to-Proceed to be issued in mid 2024 for a summer start of <br />construction. With the project scope and location, the ideal schedule for the project would be when Our Lady of Hungary School is closed for <br />summer break. <br />No plans were available for review at the time the LOI was prepared. It is our understanding the project includes the replacement of pedestrian <br />sidewalks and ADA ramps around Our Lady of Hungary School (see map below for impacted areas). The project area has several ramps and sidewalk <br />crossings that do not meet current ADA standards. <br />From our review of the site and familiarity of sidewalk and ramp replacement projects, we expect a high level of coordination effort to be required <br />throughout the project with the impacted school, Walker Field Park, the Armed Forces Reserve Center as well as the South Bend Public Information <br />Officer.
