Project Approach <br />The project is currently scheduled to let August of 2024. We anticipate a Notice-to-Proceed to be issued in September of 2024 for construction. <br />No plans were available for review at the time the LOI was prepared. It is our understanding the project includes the replacement of pedestrian <br />sidewalks and ADA ramps around both Muessel Primary School and Holy Cross School (see map below for impacted areas). The project area has <br />several ramps and sidewalk crossings that do not meet current ADA standards. <br />From our review of the site and familiarity of sidewalk and ramp replacement projects, we expect a high level of coordination effort to be required <br />throughout the project with the impacted schools, as well as the South Bend Public Information Officer.
